KOLOTYLO, Genevieve

October 26, 1939 - June 11, 2017

On Sunday, June 11, 2017, Genevieve Kolotylo of Willingdon, Alberta passed away at the age of 77 years.

Genevieve is survived by her loving family, her children Denise (Richard) Barlott, Alan Kolotylo, Carol Kolotylo, David (Mavin) Kolotylo and Sharon McLachlan; twelve grandchildren Eilana (Geoff) and Catherine Barlott; Ashley (James) Raynor; Kylle, Jennifer, Tyler and Emily Bosch; Brianne (Garrett), Brayden (Kaitlin) and Brylan (Katlynn) Kolotylo; Lauren and Rory McLachlan; two great-grandchildren who brought a sparkle to her eye, Eva and Acher Kozakewich; one brother Don (Donna) Strynadka; sister-in-law Kate (Sandy) Bidniak; brother-in-law Bill Ungeran. Genevieve was predeceased by her husband Metro; parents John and Irene Strynadka; sister Mary Esak and a sister in infancy; sister-in-law Ann Ungeran.

A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta.  A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Holy Assumption Orthodox Church – Shandro (Twp Rd 574 & Rng Rd 153) with Father Ryan Bishop officiating.  Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
