So sad to hear of Maryjane’s passing. But consoled in knowing she led a very full life with many connections with family and friends alike. She was a great long time friend with my parents (Don and Gladys Reid) and by extension a friend and mentor to my brother Jim and sister Heather and me. She showed us the pleasures of Ukrainian cooking, gardening in Alberta, and helped plan and navigate family weddings. Easy to talk about anything with and being non judgemental were traits she demonstrated with every encounter. Maryjane and Ray were great travel companions to sunny destinations with our parents. Although they have all now passed, those memories are what we hold dear. God speed Maryjane on this final adventure your spirit lives on. Brian Reid

As a retired member of the Ladies Auxilliary of the Army, Navy and Airforce Veterans in Canada, Sir Winston Churchill Unit #3, Mary Jane served in many areas until the closure of the Unit. One of Mary's special times (I think) is when she worked hard at the meat draws that were held to support the Unit. She was a truly a wonderful woman and a friend of my wife and I.
