Sending my heartfelt condolences to all of you as you grieve the loss of Jim.
I immensely enjoyed the time I spent with Jim when he was at Eagle View Lodge. I liked to tease him only to get a “smart reply” right back that was followed by him crossing his arms and giving me the biggest smirk or smile. His knowledge of history and of course all things sports-related made him a force to be reckoned with during trivia programs. One of favorite memories of Jim was when he came along on the “men only” outing last year to Legasse Park in St. Paul…there was “fun beer,” travels along the water trails, ice cream, and of course the water park. Jim was one of two men that decided to ditch his shoes and socks, roll up his pants legs and enjoy the sprinklers and sprays with great laughter and huge smiles! It was so great to experience that happiness with him!
Jim touched so many lives and was so incredibly proud of his family. His legacy and love lives on in all of you now…just as he would want it. Take care of yourselves and each other.
My sympathies,
Cindy Krahn
