Obituary of Annie Babiuk

BABIUK, Annie July 8, 1927 – March 13, 2025 On Thursday, March 13, 2025, Annie Babiuk of Brosseau, Alberta peacefully passed away at the age of 97 years. Annie is survived by her loving family, son Raymond (Linda), daughter Rachel (Randy) Wolfe, son Dennis (Andrea) and son Donald (Sylvia); ten grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one brother-in-law Jim Olmstead; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Nick; parents Peter and Kate Logozar; one brother Walter; and six sisters, Mary, Cecile, Stephania (Paul) Robinson, Rose (Mike) Bodnar, Lena (Arsene) Skakun, and Marlene Olmstead. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Two Hills, Alberta with Fr. Peter Haugen officiating. Interment to follow in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery – Mamaestie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Two Hills Health Care Centre Foundation - in support of long term care - c/o 4401-53 Ave.,Box 160, Two Hills, AB.,T0B 4K0” or to the “Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church -Two Hills, Alberta.”
