Obituary of Lawrence Toma

TOMA, Lawrence January 12, 1933 – May 11, 2025 On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Lawrence Toma, of Hairy Hill, Alberta, passed away at the age of 92 years. Lawrence is survived by his loving family, sons Bradley, Bentley and Berton (Crystal); two grandsons Kyle and Zachary; one great-grandson Arthur; siblings Georgina, Diane and Daryl (Pat); along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Lawrence was predeceased by his wife Anne; parents George and Sarah Toma; two sisters Delima (Steve) and Shirley; two brothers Andy and Dale. A Celebration of Lawrence’s Life will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at the Willingdon Recreation Centre. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment to follow at a later date in the St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Cemetery – Boian. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Church - Boian.”
