Obituary of Leonard Eugene Kozak

KOZAK, Leonard Eugene April 10, 1947 – September 8, 2025 On Monday, September 8, 2025, Leonard Eugene Kozak of Mundare, Alberta passed away at the age of 78 years. Leonard is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Darlene; son Daniel; daughter Lisa and her daughters Taryn and Ari; three brothers Ronald, Dennis (Garcene) and Eugene (Shauna); and sister Mary Gubersky; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John and Cassie and one brother-in-law Larry Gubersky. A Private Graveside Service was held on Saturday September 13, 2025 at the St. Demetro Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery – Hilliard Farms with Basilian Fathers officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the “Alzheimer Society of Alberta” or the “Lupus Foundation of Canada.”
