My deepest condolences to the Holowaychuk family on the passing of your husband, father and brother, Bill. I remember many visits Bill and Nancy made to Smoky Lake to visit my Dad, Joe and my Mom, Nellie.
I especially remember the auction sale my sister, Pat had after the passing of her husband, Elmer. Bill bought ALL of Dads saws, cause he said he remembers Dad sharpening them. Thank you for all the visits you made to my mom and dad. They cherished your visits. Rest in peace and I am sure you and Dad are now catching up on everything in heaven.

Very sorry to hear of Uncle Bill's passing - he lived a long, full life.
Many fond memories of family gatherings on the farm, where live music and general merriment were almost certain to break out, more often than not.
He would always welcome us to come up on the combine for a few rounds during harvest, after which the customary trip to Radium was in order. I can still taste his "Coyote pancakes" early morning in the Redstreak Campground - "If you're hungry enough, you'll eat 'em" - and we did, because, of course, it was Uncle Bill.
