Obituary of Marie Tatarin

TATARIN, Marie L. August 30, 1940 – January 2, 2026 On Friday, January 2, 2026, Marie L. Tatarin of Hairy Hill, Alberta, peacefully passed away at the age of 85 years. Marie is survived by her loving family, children Brian (Karen) along with their children Brandon (Felicia) and their family Kale and Kyla; Bretton and Shaylan: Linda along with her daughter-in-law Chantel (Ernie) and her children Rachael and Nickolas and step-grandchildren Evan and Jace; Amber (Justin) along with their family Jeremy, Tyson and Jessa; Orrianna (Shay) and their family Carter and Cohen: Lolly (Robert) along with their children Yolanda (Dion) and their son Taylum; Jaylene (Craig) and their family Sophia and Dalton: Wayne: and Ivan (Roxanne) along with their children Tanisha (Daniel) and their daughter Eloise; and Cole; siblings Harry (Deanna) Humeniuk, Zonia Kavich and Susie Beattie; sister-in-law Lillian Humeniuk; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Marie was predeceased by her husband Nick; son-in-law Bob; grandson Bodel; parents Joseph and Annie Humeniuk; siblings Bill, Nestor, Nick, Myron, Eugene, Ronnie, Terry and Rosie. A private funeral service will be held with Father Peter Haughen. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery - Szypenitz. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations may be made to “S.T.A.R.S.” or “Eagle Hill Lodge-Willlingdon, Alberta.”
