Obituary of Zenovia Polutranko

POLUTRANKO, Zenovia January 9, 1944 – January 1, 2026 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Zenovia Polutranko of Vegreville, Alberta on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at the age of 81 years. Zenovia will be deeply missed by her husband Walter of 56 years; daughters Monica (Brian) and Marcella; grandchildren Evan, Jack and Alia; siblings Ronald (Elizabeth), Joyce, and Stanley (Audrey); along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Rose Andrashewski; and brother-in-law Richard Walker. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Two Hills Long Term Care Centre for their compassionate care. A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vegreville, Alberta with Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow in the Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Holy Trinity Parish” or the “Alzheimer Society of Alberta.”
