SKUBLENY, Pauline August 30, 1930 - February 6, 2026 On Friday, February 6, 2026, Pauline Skubleny reached a peaceful sleep at the age of 95 years. Pauline will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Rosanna (Mervin), Maryanne (David), Elizabeth (Allan) and Bernita (Dean); twelve grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley; her grand-son Stephen; as well as by her brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all who have reached out to them during this difficult time. A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Sophia’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (53012 Range Road 224, Strathcona County). A Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church – Star Peno (564080A Range Road 193). Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church (c/o Liz Greening, RR 1, St. Michael, Alberta., T0B 4B0) or given for a mass for the repose of her soul.
