Margo Phillips
December 12, 1933 – February 12, 2026
Margo Phillips passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026, at the age of 92, with her family by her side.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Wendy (Nordstrom) and Jack McDonald of Powell River, B.C.; Lance Nordstrom of Nanaimo, B.C.; Angela Phillips of Vegreville; Debbie (Brian) Kirby of Airdrie; Laura Kelly (Doug) of Vegreville; Jamie (Clayton) Mackinnon of Newbrook; Howard (Michele) Phillips of Bonnyville; as well as her daughter-in-law Brenda Phillips of Vegreville. Margo will also be dearly missed by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Otto and Margarita Theil; her special friend, George Donner; and her son, Daryl Phillips.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 4513 Maple Street, Vegreville, Alberta with Pastor Greg Kjos officiating. Inurnment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Covenant Health Foundation c/o Mary Immaculate Care Centre - Mundare, Alberta.
