Obituary of William (Bill) Soltys

SOLTYS, William (Bill) October 21, 1947 – February 10, 2026 On February 10, 2026, Bill Soltys of Two Hills Alberta passed away at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce of 55 years; daughters Jennifer (Darwin) and Callee; grandchildren Soleil, Sophie, and Farley; and one furry friend Misty. He was predeceased by his brother Tony; sister-in-law Margaret; and his parents. Bill was born on October 21, 1947, attended school at St Martin’s in Vegreville, and worked hard for many years on a cattle/grain farm near Two Hills. Throughout his life Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, picking mushrooms/berries and gardening. He cherished his family and had a deep love of learning. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Many thanks to the nursing staff at St Joseph’s General Hospital in Vegreville.
