SHUKALAK, Agnes January 19, 1937 – May 12, 2026 With deep regret and everlasting love, we say goodbye, until we meet again, to Agnes Shukalak of Vegreville, Alberta. Surrounded by her family, Agnes passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, at the age of 89 years. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters Bev (Ron), Trudy, and Shelly (Bob); one son Kevin; eleven grandchildren Darren (Brenda), Raenell (Greg), Rhonda (Dave), Kelly (Patrick), Erin, Nathan (Brandy), Kaitlyn (Connor), McKenna (Preston), Taylor (Jessica), Carter, and Mason (Kailee); fourteen great-grandchildren Allana (Jayden), Cameron, Jared, Ryan, Linden, Reid, Miller, Charlie (Nic), Larissa (Luis), Kaylynn, Kaeson, Savannah, Everly, and Kinsley; one sister Margie; and one brother Robert. Agnes was predeceased by her beloved first husband, Stanley Shukalak, and later by her beloved husband, John Culley; parents Andrew and Mary (Odynak) Fedorak; three sisters Leona, Pauline, and Doreen; two brothers Metro and Bill; and one great-granddaughter Kara in infancy. A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cherished aunt and dear friend. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, quiet grace, faith, and unwavering love for her family. The family of Agnes extends profound gratitude to the staff of the Vegreville Manor and the health care team of St. Joseph’s General Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. A private Memorial Service will take place. Inurnment in Riverside Cemetery. Her life was a blessing; her memory a treasure.
