ZOWTUK, Ronald Anthony July 17, 1964 – May 15, 2026 God saw you getting tired, when a cure was not to be, so, He wrapped his arms around you and whispered, “Come with me.” It is with deep sadness that the family of Ronald (Uncle Ronnie) Anthony Zowtuk announce his passing on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the age of 61 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends for his kindness; his sense of humor and many fun and fond memories shared throughout his life. Ronnie leaves to mourn his sister Joyce and family; three brothers: Dennis (Colette) and family, Marcel (Tina) and family, and the late Laurie’s family; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. Ronald was predeceased by his father and mother, Michael and Mary Zowtuk; brother Laurie; sister-in-law Joanne Palmer; grandparents: Annie and Nick Zowtuk and Anastasia (Nancy) and Peter Faryna; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vegreville, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada” or a charity of one’s choice.
