POOKE, Anne
February 6, 1940 - June 14, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anne Marie Pooke of Vegreville, Alberta on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at the age of 86 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: son Darren (Sheri), daughter Michelle (Dale), and son Bryan; her last surviving sister Angela; her beautiful grandchildren: Lyndsey (Lanny), Allyson (Scott), Darcy (Aleesha) and Dayna (Colby); and great grandchildren: Lincoln, Londyn, Leo and Lochlan. She was predeceased by her husband Edward; brothers Leo, Ray, Mervin; and sister Carolyn.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Vegreville, Alberta with Fr. Chad Miciak officiating. Interment to follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the “St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church” or the “Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.”
Anne had a heart of gold and will be extremely missed. Rest In Peace.
