Obituary of Don Heberling

HEBERLING, Donald Andrew August 2, 1962 – June 12, 2026 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Andrew Heberling, lovingly known as Don, on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the age of 63 years. Don was a man who felt most at home outdoors. Whether he was camping, quadding, snowmobiling, sitting around a campfire, or spending time on the water, he found joy in the freedom and adventure of the outdoors. Many of his happiest memories were made on the trails, at the lake, and surrounded by family and friends under an open sky. Above all, Don loved his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 12 years, Marnie; his daughters Megan and Amber; stepdaughter Quinn; his cherished grandchildren William and Jakob Good, and Quayi and Tayinn Jozzy; his father Edwin Heberling; his brother Doug; as well as many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his presence. Don was predeceased by his mother, Katherine Heberling. Those who knew Don will remember his love of the outdoors, his passion for music, his adventurous spirit, and the many memories made alongside him. His legacy lives on in the stories shared around campfires, the trails travelled with family and friends, and the love he had for those closest to him. While our hearts are broken by his loss, we take comfort that the memories he gave us will remain forever. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta, with Verna Klimack officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lac Sante Family Recreational Society. We will love him always, in all ways.
