JAMISON, Paul George
August 25, 1940 – July 16, 2026
It is with deep sadness that the family of Paul Jamison announces his peaceful passing on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the age of 85 years.
Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 64 years, Olga, and by their children Leesa (Terry), Jan (Kevin), and Dene (Sheryl). Paul was a proud grandfather to Kenneth (Jolene), Nicole (Jason), Dana (Joey), and Benjamin (Dannae) and an even prouder great grandfather to Olivia, Adalyn and Kayce.
Waiting in heaven are his parents Irvin and Mary and great grandchildren Jaxon and Nixon.
Paul was born in Chauvin, Alberta and is the oldest sibling to Roana, Lea (Harold) and their families as well as the family of his brother Clarence (predeceased by).
Paul was a man of adventure which continued when he met and married the love of his life Olga in 1962. Their early years were filled with many moves, and they finally settled in Vegreville in 1973 and later in the Warwick community.
Olga’s large family of siblings and extended family were an important part of his journey on earth, especially her parents Fred and Nina. He will be fondly remembered by all the Hritzuk clan.
Paul was a very social man and will be remembered by many for his stories but mostly for the love and pride in his family. His later years were filled with stories and accomplishments of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Please join us in celebrating Paul on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. for a service at Autumn Rose Funeral Home with Verna Klimack officiating. Followed by a celebration at the Royal Canadian Legion Vegreville. Private inurnment to be held in the Riverside Cemetery. For those that wish, memorial donations may be made to the “Shriner’s Hospital for Children.”
