Obituary of Donna Furgeson

Donna Leanne Furgeson It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donna Leanne Furgeson, who passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026 at the age of 64. Born on November 2, 1961, in Comox, BC, Donna lived a life filled with love, strength, and compassion. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. She will be lovingly remembered for her generous heart, her ability to make light of every situation, strength, work ethic, compassion for others, and the love she had for her family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured forever. She leaves behind her husband, Guy; her son, Jamie Furgeson (Stacie), and their children, Tayla, Laramie, Taylyn, and Corbin; her daughters, Jessie Zawaduk (Ryan) and Jackie Stratichuk (Nolan), and their children, Aiden and Sydney; her siblings; and many friends who will forever carry her love in their hearts. She was predeceased by her mother, Arlene; her father, Norm; and her brother, Bob. Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and that the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through those whose lives she touched. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for Donna at a later date. Family and friends will be invited to gather in remembrance, to share stories, celebrate her life, and honour the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
