Obituary of Thomas Lenkewich

LENKEWICH, Thomas July 2, 1932 – August 20, 2026 With broken hearts we announce the passing of the rock of our family on Thursday, August 20th, 2026, with his family by his side at the age of 94 years. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Tom will be forever loved and missed by his lifetime love, soulmate and wife of 74 years Marguerite; youngest son Allan and his wife Laura; daughter Brenda Moberg; grandsons Allen Gerlinsky and David Lenkewich; great-grandchildren Nevaeh, Matvykko and Ella; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends. Tom was predeceased by his only granddaughter Jaclyn Lassu; his eldest son Robert; his parents Frank and Eva; one brother; two sisters and many in-laws. Born on July 2, 1932 on the family farm near Spedden Alberta, Tom devoted his life to his wife and family. He had great love and pride for his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved every opportunity to spend time with them. A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Mundare Senior's Drop-In Center, (5128 - 50th Street, Mundare Alberta.) Memorial donations may be made to the “Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.”
