January 22, 1949 – June 25, 2023
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Elaine Burns of Vegreville, Alberta on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at the age of 74 years.
Elaine was a loving wife, mother, grandma, granny, Gma, sister, aunt and caring friend. Elaine is survived by her daughter Char Traudt of Vegreville; son Chuck Burns of Calgary; brother Duane Fawkes of Calgary; grandchildren Kody, Megan, Dalen and many more that she was granny and Gma to; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Strathmore Civic Centre (120 Brent Boulevard, Strathmore, Alberta). Inurnment to follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens – Calgary, Alberta.
