October 18, 1921 – March 24, 2015
On Tuesday, March 24, 2015, George Richard Hoggins of Vegreville, Alberta passed away at the age of 93 years.
George is survived by his loving family, his wife of 60 years, Lorna; one son Richard (Dawn); three daughters Heather (Terry) Paziuk, Karen (Dan) Litke and Darlene Muntz; eleven grandchildren Cole (Nicole), Karleen, Alexandra (Shaun), Chad, Sean, Alysha, Chance, Melissa, Charles (Jamie), Matthew (Krista) and Kristopher; seven great-grandchildren Hunter, Kyra, Keaten, Kaelynn, Casey, Carter and Chase; along with two nephews and one niece Howard, Dale and Debbie and their families. George was predeceased by his parents Richard and Ada Hoggins; one brother Reginald (Annette).
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta with Reverend Carolyn Woodall officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or to the Charity of One’s Choice.
