Obituary of Steve Andruik

ANDRUIK, Steve August 17, 1915 – July 13, 2015 On Monday, July 13, 2015, Mr. Steve Andruik of Vegreville, Alberta passed away just prior to his 100th birthday. Steve is survived by his loving family, two daughters and two sons, Betty (Ernie) Gegolick, Ernie (Pat), Donna Straughan and Donald (Lili); 5 grandsons Ward (Sheelagh), Randy, Brian (Laura), Cameron (Michelle) and Kyle; 7 great-granddaughters Anna, Amiee, Megan, Emily, Sarah, Rowan and Jordan; one sister in law Mary Andruik; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Steve was predeceased by his wife Dora; one son Ronald in infancy; parents Tom and Sarafina Andruik; along with numerous siblings. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Vladimir (5146-48 Ave.) in Vegreville, Alberta with Father Mykola Sawchenko officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.”
