On Friday, November 21, 2014, Mrs. Victoria Kretzel (nee Ruptash) of Edmonton, Alberta peacefully passed away with her family by her side at the age of 84 years.
Victoria is survived by her loving family, her husband of 64 years, Lawrence; four sons Gerald, Don (Cindy), Terry and Nelson (Linda); six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister Jean Wispinski; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Howard and McBride Chapel of Chimes (10179-108 St.) in Edmonton, Alberta with Reverend Carolyn Woodall officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Riverside Cemetery – Vegreville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.” A special thank you to the nursing staff on Unit 53 at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Victoria.
