Obituary of Nellie Sribney

SRIBNEY, Nellie August 21, 1933 – October 15, 2015 On Thursday, October 15, 2015, Nellie Sribney of Vegreville, Alberta passed away at the age of 82 years. Nellie is survived by her loving family, her husband of 60 years, Walter; daughter Lorelei (Richard) Tennant; granddaughters Courtney (Jordan) Adams and Chelsey Tennant; one sister Lil Sweet and one brother Loyal (Sylvia) Krawchuk; along with numerous relatives and friends. Nellie was predeceased by her daughter Trudy; her parents Alex and Maria Krawchuk; brother in law Floyd Sweet. A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vegreville, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating and interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Donations may be made to “Haying in the 30’s” or to “STARS.”
