We send heartfelt condolences and love to Muriel, the Yakimowich family and to Christine, Eleni and Laura for the sad passing of Bill. May he rest in peace. May the God of consolation and compassion watch over him and heal all our sorrows.
When I left Bill at the hospital to travel home to Ireland just before he died, I said the following "Irish Blessing."
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
May the rain fall on your fields
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hands.
It was a privilege to have known my Aunt's loving husband and to have spent some time with him close to his untimely death.
