YAKIMISHYN, Helen
April 20, 1922 – December 24, 2014
On Wednesday, December 24, 2014, Helen Yakimishyn of Edmonton, AB. formerly of Andrew passed away at the age of 92 years.
Helen is survived by one son and two daughters Clifford (Diane), Lucille (George) Bryks and JoAnn (Ken) Hennig; six granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren; one brother Victor Danelesko; one sister Olga Danelesko; one sister in law Lois Danelesko. Helen was predeceased by her husband James in 1997; one great granddaughter Rebecca; her parents George and Anna Danelesko; two brothers Fred and John; two sisters Jessie and Mary; one sister in law Marjorie.
A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church – Krakow with Father Bohdan Nahachewsky officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation.
