January 24, 1926 – January 12, 2015
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Andruk of Vegreville, Alberta, formerly of Andrew at the age of 88 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Grace; sisters Erna Wirstuk and Evelyn (Eugene) Lamash; along with numerous step children, step grandchildren, step great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. George was predeceased by his first wife, Mary; parents Andrew and Rose; one brother Bill; one sister Mary.
A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Nativity of the Holy Virgin Orthodox Church-Kysylew (Hwy 45 North on Rng Rd 165) with Very Reverend (Abbot) Gerasim Power officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the “Lamont Health Care Centre”, “CNIB” or “Kysylew Church” would be greatly appreciated.
