May 7, 1932 – October 8, 2014
On Wednesday, October 8, 2014, Joseph Frankiw of Two Hills, Alberta passed away at the age of 82 years with his family at his side.
Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Susan: children Dale, Tammy (Darren), Eugene (Karen) and Jason (Shauna); grandchildren Steven (Stephanie), Christina, Michael and Katerina: Alyssa, Shelby and Brenden: Nicole and Darren: two great granddaughters Sophie and Olivia: mother in law Annie Palichuk: siblings Steve Frankiw, Cassie (Walter) Pasnak, Mary Dowhaniuk, Orest (Georgina) Frankiw, Kathy Frankiw and Olga Frankiw: along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Joe was predeceased by his parents Korney and Katherine Frankiw; father in law Mike Palichuk.
A Parastas (Funeral Service) will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church – Plain Lake with Very Reverend Don Bodnar officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church – Plain Lake” or to the “Two Hills Health Care Centre.” Autumn Rose Funeral Home Ltd.,Vegreville,780-603-5800.
