On Sunday, May 10, 2015, Minnie Tymchak of Vegreville, Alberta formerly of Holden passed away with family by her side at the age of 87 years.
Minnie is survived by two daughters Marilynn (Larry) Strilchuk and Bernice Tymchak; one daughter in law Susan Tymchak; four grandchildren Clayton (Jennifer) Strilchuk along with their children Jada, Tatum and Nile: Leah (Chris) Malo along with their children Brooklyn and Cole: Wade Tymchak: and Jill Tymchak; two sisters Mary Owchar and Olga (John) Osadchuk; one sister in law Emily Tymchak; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Minnie was predeceased by her husband James; son Richard; her parents Nick and Anna Puk; brothers John, Bill, Paul, Peter, Harry, Alex, Metro; one sister Clara Bilyk.
A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Descent of The Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church in Holden, Alberta with Reverend Greg Faryna officiating. Interment to follow in the Holden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Holden Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery Fund” or the “charity of your choice.”
