On Tuesday, May 12, 2015, Nick Ewashko of Two Hills, Alberta passed away with family by his side.
Nick is survived by his loving family Dennis (Julie) along with children Aidan and Miranda; Nickie (Derrick) Hislop along with children Derian, Nolen and Jase; Colleen (Bruce Gibbs); Valerie (Ty Skjonsberg and son Kyler); Jennifer (Danny) Wouters; Rick; Sandra Jacobsen; Cheryl (Dennis) McKay; Glenna Martins; Susan; and numerous grandchildren; sisters Anne Bednarski, Olga Pochynok and Nadia Fundytus all of Vegreville; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Nick was predeceased by his wife Pearl; his parents Harry and Pearl Ewashko; stepfather Joseph Mazurek; and numerous relatives.
A Divine Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church (5010-57 Ave.) in Vegreville, Alberta with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the “Two Hills Health Centre Foundation – Resident Council.”
