Obituary of Lorne Lakusta

LAKUSTA, Lorne October 17, 1966 – May 26, 2023 It is with very heavy hearts, we announce the passing our beloved Husband, Father and Gido, Lorne Lakusta of Andrew, Alberta at the age of 56 years. Lorne is survived by his loving family, his wife of 34 years, Effie; son Lyle and daughter Larissa (Matthew) MacIsaac; his precious granddaughter Loclynn Lauren. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and friends and many people whose lives he touched in his lifetime. He was predeceased by his parents Sylvester and Margaret Lakusta. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at the Andrew Community Centre with Rt. Rev. Protopresbyter Victor Lakusta officiating. Private interment for the family will follow in the St. John Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery – Sachava.
