Dearest Olga, Linette, Dwight, Kevin, Leslie and all your families;
Darlene and I are so very sorry to hear of Alvins passing. Our most sincere condolences to you all on this huge loss.
We will always remember Alvin as a very polite, lovely gentleman with the most beautiful smile and a bit of mischievousness in those twinkly eyes. Always ready with a joke or a tease-he sure could make us laugh.
For all that knew Alvin well, you know the man could bake-his special creation was beautiful tall chiffon cakes. We were gifted with many of his delicious cakes...Darlene’s favourite was Alvin’s poppyseed chiffon and my favourite was his maple walnut.
Alvin and Olga were always very good to us and we looked forward to seeing them in the Doctors office.
We felt very HONOURED to be invited to their big Anniversary Celebration and the LOVE these two had for each other was admirable and something to strive for indeed.
We are thinking of you all as you lay Alvin to rest and we wish you Peace, Strength and Fortitude as you navigate the difficult days ahead.
