Dear Marla, Lyndon, Kelly and Jim,
I am so sorry for your loss. Auntie Emily was an extraordinary woman. She was my very favorite Aunt. She was not only an aunt to me, she was a second mom and an unwavering source love and reliability. She was so kind and generous, positive and just plain lovely. She had remarkable strength. She was such a great role model for me. She was a hard worker and a wonderful provider showing us the importance of diligence and determination in the face of life's challenges. She always knew to do the right thing. Great values were the cornerstone of her character. She lived by principles that emphasized kindness, compassion, and integrity. Her moral compass guided her through life, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she touched.
Marla, Lyndon, Kelly and Jim ----All four of you were such amazing support for her throughout her entire life. Marla, I remember how you always did the dishes every night when we were teenagers and would not go out until the kitchen was spotless. You were so devoted to her. You took such amazing care of her in such a selfless way which reflected her spirit. It really was so nice to watch. Jim, Kelly and Lyndon you all stepped up in so many ways. You all were a testament to her nurturing spirit and the values she held dear.
I will miss her so much. She was such an important part of my life and my history. I am so thankful I had her. She raised me in so many ways. May she rest in peace and be dancing with Uncle Buster. Love Tammy (The Yellow Bag)

Jim, Kelly. Lyndon and Marla, My condolences and prayers in the passing of your precious mother Emily,
She was one of my favorite cousins. I have fond memories of staying with Emily and Buster at their family farm about 70 years ago.
Emily was the matriarch of the Yakimetz family, but what I remember best is that , whenever we met, or were driving to an event, Emily always talked about her cherished children and your families.
Celebrate her memories and love for all of you!
May Emily rest in peace in the arms of our Lord!

To my dearest friend Marla and family
I will always remember your mom's generosity, kind heart, smile and sense of humour. I will miss her calling me Nancy! She had a way of making people always feel special and welcome which I know she passed on to the next generation.
Marla - There are very few days I can remember when I didn't hear you speak about your mom. I often watched you interact and admired the way you cared for her. Your patience, kindness, and unwavering support are a testament to the incredible bond you shared. Your dedication to her well-being was obvious to all. Your mom was truly fortunate to have you as her child. And for you, truly a privilege to get 94 years of time with her.
Sending you all love and strength as you navigate your way through this loss.

My condolences to the Bradshaw family. If I remember correctly, Emily's husband Buster played baseball with Brush Hill. I'm sure Emily cheered on that team too.

Emily was such a good coffee friend for so many years! She always had a smile on her face.
We also had many good times together at the RCMP Christmas parties in the olden days.
Emily was a very hard worker and did an exceptional job at raising her family while running the laundry mat and the pool hall. She definitely made Vegreville a better place to be! She was very well respected in our community. May God rest her soul. Prayers of peace and our condolences to her family.
