CHATTERTON, Alice
February 16, 1936 – January 28, 2024
On Sunday, January 28, 2024, Alice Chatterton (nee Melnyk) of Edmonton, Alberta, peacefully passed away at the age of 87 years.
Alice is survived by her loving family, daughters Brenda and her daughters Tayssa (Isaac) and Cassandra (Cam): Barbara and her children Nix (Alex) and Juhl: sisters Doris, Olga and Nancy (Fred); sisters-in-law Laurie (Terry), Rose and Wiesia; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alice was predeceased by her husband, George; common-law-spouse Mike; her parents Wasyl and Stella Melnyk; sisters and brothers Ruby, Dorothy, Ted, Tom, Fred, Alex, Mike, Henry, Annie and Nick; and also numerous brothers-in-law.
A Celebration of Life for Alice will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Memories Funeral Home – 13403 St. Albert Trail- Edmonton, Alberta with Pastor Trevor Caverly officiating. Inurnment to follow in Beechmount Cemetery.
