Obituary of Christine Rewega

REWEGA, Christine July 26, 1952 – April 27, 2024 On Saturday April 27, your Lord and Saviour called you home at the age of 71 years. You leave behind to mourn your loss, your only daughter, Tammy {Bill}; 3 granddaughters: Kennedie {Matthew}, Denelli {Calen} and Cheyenne {Noah}. Christine was blessed with 3 sisters: Brenda {Rod}, Debbie {Ron} and Robin along with 2 brothers: Randy {Loretta} and Dwight {Donna}; numerous nieces and nephews, family, friends, and church community, both near and far. Christine was predeceased by her parents Metro and Margaret Rewega. A public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. A Reception with light refreshments will be held at the Vegreville Royal Canadian Legion from 12:15 – 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Ranfurly Cemetery following the reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Lin and nursing staff at Leduc hospital unit 31 along with the palliative care Dr. Voldeng and nursing staff at St. Joseph’s auxiliary hospital in Edmonton.
