McDonald, Norman “Carl” It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother Norman ‘Carl” McDonald, who left us on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the age of 64 years. Carl, as he fondly was called by friends and family was born on October 10, 1959 to John and Emma McDonald in Edmonton, Alberta. Carl is survived by; sisters Joyce (Russell) McDonald and Debbie (Brian) Kalynchuk; brothers Gorden and Don; along with numerous nieces and nephews Shauna (Jason) Palsattt, Andrew, Cameron, Ethan, Tammy (Dan) DeBruyn, Jace, Lily, Matthew, Jeannine McDonald, Robyn (Matt) McDonald, Dusan Grubjesic, Autumn Grubjesic, Tyler Grubjesic-MCdonald and Carter McDonald. Carl was predeceased by his mom Emma McDonald in 1998. A private graveside interment was held at the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery – Borschiw. As kids, we lived together we laughed, we cried, we fought, we did not always show the love that we all had inside. We shared our dreams and some secrets too. All the memories we share, is what bonds us now to you. We grew to find, we have a love that is very strong today. It is the love shared by our Family that will never fade. You are our brother not by choice But by nature of birth. We could not have chosen a better one. You are one of the best.
