Dear Debbie, Bev. , Doreen and families,
What a shock to see of Auntie Steff’s passing. Although I didn’t know your Mom that well, what I do remember is she had a heart of gold, was an amazing cook and hostess, and was one of a kind.. My thoughts go out to all of you at this difficult time.

My most authentic tears for Steffie.
Steffie took me in like the fourth daughter. ( Which she really didn't need). She was always very calm and accepting of everything we (Debbie and I and the bunch) could hand her. She listened calmly to everything we said, no matter how out of line we were. She nodded quietly, knowing and trusting full well that in the end, we would come to the right decisions. She treated me and fed me as though I was her own. I will miss her for that. One was always welcomed into her home and treated like a member of her family. She worked tirelessly on the farm, directly and supportively to maintain an active mixed farm. It was a true testament to her strength. At the end of everyday and well into retirement she had the energy and generosity to support others and give time to her community, church and family. She managed to overcome many physical and emotional challenges that were thrown at her. A trait she demonstrated to the very end. My most sincere sympathy to Debbie, Doreen, Bev and their families. Steffie has left them with a legacy of endurance, love and generosity.
