Q: What will you never forget about Sonia?
A: Hello, my name is Kathy Constantine (nee Stefaniuk).
Sonya and I were first cousins, and went to school together. Sonya was an honour student, down to earth and we used to play together as children. Sonya was honest,and very happy. We talked on the phone long after I left Alberta in 1975, and into the present year. We are the same age, only 3 mos different, and I will miss her laugh, her sense of humor and her, as a cousin and and big part of my family.

Dear Jerry and Family,
I simply cannot express the sorrow felt on the loss of such a wonderful woman. She was inspiring to me while working along side her and for many years after. I marveled at the all she did.....she made her own tortillas!! She did it all. How did she manage to do all she did and have one of the most envied yards in all the county?
Her love and dedication was (and still is) an inspiration for all. Please accept our most sincere condolences, know that she will be remembered fondly.

I remember the day my brother Jerry announced he asked Sonia to marry him and she said yes. The family was so pleased and I was thrilled that Sonia was going to be my sister. And as I was growing up Sonia became my best friend.
She was a rock to our family, always showing kindness, generosity, thoughtfulness and understanding.
I will forever cherish the times we had together.
