Obituary of Edward Staniforth

STANIFORTH, Edward May 24, 1941 - June 28, 2024 On Friday, June 28, 2024, at the age of 83 years old, Edward Staniforth of Edmonton passed away after losing his long battle with dementia. Edward is survived by his sister Marylynn Porter and two of his children, Vickie Lee Staniforth and Byron Staniforth. Edward was predeceased by his wife Gloria Gallant, the love of his life. Also both his parents Ernest & Victoria Staniforth and his daughter Barbara Staniforth. Ed had worked for the City of Edmonton for most of his working career as an assessor as well as the Government of Alberta. After retirement, Ed and Gloria were able to travel and spend many winters in Mexico which was their preferred destination. With respect to Eds final wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
