I saw her in a distance - always cordial and with a smile - we were community members ( new her parents more so ) but God took her to be with him and now she will watch over her loved ones from above . My sincerest condolences to all who loved her and that she loved.

Dear Matan and Sidor Family,
Our hearts go out to you all during this most difficult time. Chris and I watched Mel grow up, attending events with her beloved dad, mom and big sister; enter adulthood with big dreams and ambitions - you know - killing it with her little sports car and hanging out with the Oilers; become a wife to the perfect partner for her and raise two amazing children. She has had a silent fan base for many years....we have all been cheering her along. Mel had a wonderful life....we just wish it was longer and less pain.
Love each other and hold those memories close and take comfort in knowing she had a life well lived.
May her memory be forever eternal.

I am honored to have such special memories of this beautiful lady, as a child. I was her babysitter....and such easy girls to babysit. We would play games, do some crafts, make some popcorn...Melahna was always happy and joyful with this sparkle in her eye, and had a wonderful laugh. My Dad shared with me her illness and it was very saddening for such a lively lady to have had to have such struggles. God gained a beautiful angel.
Memories eternal.
