Dear families, Leona was a kind and caring neighbor. She trusted me to babysit her three young children. On one occasion, she told me ahead of time that Patty, a toddler, resisted diaper changes. I changed her diaper while she was standing. Leona thought this was a great idea and mentioned it to my Mom and the other neighbors. The young boys wanted me to open a can of oysters for their treat as they said Mom agreed. I complied. I will remember her smile and friendliness. I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of my growing up years at the farm, Leona was always making sure us kids always had something to eat and her kind nature always resonated with me forever, very sorry for everyone but we can reconnect and talk about good memories,I know your mom would like that.
