REZKA, Deborah Anne
January 23, 1961 – September 24, 2024
Deborah Anne Rezka was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario she passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Debbie lived a vibrant life filled with love for her family, and friends.
A passionate cook, she was known for her exceptional skills in the kitchen, particularly her beloved cabbage rolls, perogies, and soups, which were family favourites shared at very many special occasions. Her kitchen was always filled with love, laughter, and comforting aroma of her favourite dishes.
Above all, Debbie was a devoted grandmother, and her love for her grandchildren knew no bounds. She found immense joy in spending time with them, creating cherished memories that will last them a lifetime. Through her life Debbie shared her home with her beloved pets, Sam, and Missy who brought her endless joy, and companionship.
Debbie will be remembered for her kind heart, her culinary skills, and the warmth she brought to those around her.
Debbie is survived by her loving family daughter Sara (Darren), and her son Danny ( Sadie ), her grandchildren Santana, Hope, Samantha, and Solomon, her great grandchildren Olivia, and Oakleigh, her partner Joesph Jackson along with his family, mother Patricia Weaver, sister Cheryl (Mike) Koropatniski, brothers Robert (Lisa) Rezka, and Kevin (Dana) Rezka. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, step-brothers, step-sisters, aunts, uncles, and friends. Debbie was predeceased by her Father Robert Rezka, step father Sonny Weaver, and grandparents Olga and John Drebit.
A very special thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses, and staff at the Lamont Heath Care Centre for the exceptional care they provided for her during these difficult months. Cremation has taken place, and a celebrations of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers , memorial donations may be made to the Lamont Health Care Centre.
