On December 13, 2024, Vasile Tanase of Hilliard, Alberta passed away at the age of 80 years.
Vasile is survived by his loving family, wife, Mariana; son Florian; daughter Daniela; four grandchildren; along with numerous relatives and friends. Vasile was predeceased by his parents Ion and Dumitra Tanase.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home (5036-51 Ave.) in Vegreville, Alberta with Fr. Gheorghe Petrovan officiating. Interment to follow in St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Cemetery at Boian. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
