IONETZ, Mildred Mary
July 6, 1936 – December 15, 2024
On Sunday, December 15, 2024, Mildred Mary Ionetz, formerly of Hairy Hill, Alberta passed away at the age of 88 years.
Mildred is survived by her loving family, son Calvin (Dawn) Ionetz and daughter Starla (Wayne) Smilar; four grandchildren Alex, Bailey, Evan and Arabella; sisters Doreen, Phyllis (Bob), Madeleine and Bernice; sisters-in-law Eileen, Mary and Ruth; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Edward; parents Charles and Annie Naeth; brothers Raymond, Lou, Clarence, Leonard and Vernon.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home in Vegreville, Alberta with Fr. Gheorgei Petrovan officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Mary’s Romanian Orthodox Cemetery – Hairy Hill. Memorial donations may be made to “Haying in the 30’s cancer Support Society - Haying in the 30's is now able to accept donations through e-transfer.
