1923 – 2016
On July 11 2016, Andrw Sakowsky of Two Hills, formerly of Derwent passed away at the age of 94 years.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Andrew was predeceased by his parents Andrew and Anna; brothers William, Fred, John and Nick; three sisters Mary, Kathleen, Annie; one infant sister Rosalie.
A Funeral Rite will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church – Slawa with Rev. Father Peter Haugen officiating. Interment to follow in the Chruch Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Slawa Church Cemetery Fund.
A special thanks to the staff of the Two Hills Long Term Care for their compassionate care they gave Andrew.
