VAILLANCOURT, Arthur Leo
October 3, 1952 – August 6, 2016
With great sadness the Vaillancourt family announces the passing of Arthur on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the age of 63 years with his loving wife, Vidette by his side. Arthur is survived by his loving wife of 11 years Vidette; 3 brothers: David (Giselle), Floyd (Linda) and Robert; 2 sisters: Sharon Spencer and Chris Strachan; 2 step-daughters: Michelle (Ken) and Donna (Kevin) Melenka; 6 grandchildren: Ariel, Reann and Hayley Cymbaluk, Matthew, Kaitlyn and Alysha Melenka; nieces and nephews: Steven (Alicia), Jennifer (Aubrey), Natalie (Patrick), Melanie, Sarah (Richard), Troy, Michael, Ashley (Nicholas) and numerous great nieces and nephews. Sisters and brothers-in-law: Verna (Larry) Powley, Violet (Martin) Craige, Valerie (Stan) Mamela, Vannette (Blaine) Keast, Jackie (Ken) Keast, Vernon (Kasandra) Keast, along with all their families. Arthur was predeceased by his parents, Margaret Emily (nee Baxter) and Joseph Emile Lionel Vaillancourt; brother-in-law Roger J. Spencer; parents-in-law Annette (nee Bakala) and Vernon Henry Keast.
Cremation has taken place and Arthur will rest with his parents in Chelmsford’s Roman Catholic Cemetery in Chelmsford, Ontario. Donations may be made to the “Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta.”
