Nick was a great guy my memories of nick are of a lot young men that grew up in Andrew he was the caretaker of the arena where spend countless hours. Also I basically grew up on that farm as a young man where at first Nick could play that role were he was a tough guy to get to know but for years he was like a second father to me, my heart ❤️ goes out to the melnyk family especially at the holidays season I know he is in a better place so god you nick you will never be forgotten

Dear Marcella, Barry and Family,

To Terry and family,
We feel your lost on the passing of your husband and father. Nick was a quiet and gentle man but when he smiled or laughed, he lit up the room. I can still picture him in church, always laughing with my dad. We will always remember Nick at the farm for the BBQ's and most of all, coming to "rescue" our parents at 4:00 in the morning. That early morning, as we sat around the kitchen table, it just felt so warm and right, like you were a part of our family. You were always there for our parents, and now, Terry, my parents will always be there for you. If you need to talk or be with someone, my parents will be there with open arms. And if you need a place to stay at, when your in Edmonton, you know I expect you to stay with me anytime. Besides, I need another lesson on how to make pie dough. May Nick rest in peace and I know he's enjoying all the hotdogs he can eat.
