Tymchuk, Evelyn Olive (nee Manchuk)
November 9, 1932 – March 31, 2017
On March 31, 2017, Evelyn Tymchuk of Edmonton, Alberta, formerly of Mundare, passed away at the age of 84.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Louise (Michael) Kashuba, her precious grandson, Matthieu; special niece, Kelly Hault; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, John; parents, Mary and Dan Manchuk and her siblings, Mary, Kate, Bessie, Bill, Eileen, Anne, Rose, Nick, Olga, John, and Alice.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff and physicians on Unit 51 at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital and the Palliative Consult Team. Their compassionate care made a difficult time more bearable.
A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Basil's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 7007 – 109 Street, Edmonton, Alberta where a Divine Liturgy will take place on Friday, April 7,2017 with the Basilian Fathers officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to Associates of Caritas – Grey Nuns, The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta or to a charity of one’s choice.
