Obituary of Anne Goshko (nee Triska)

GOSHKO, Anne (nee Triska) July 25, 1914 – December 29, 2014 On Monday, December 29, 2014, Anne Goshko of Vegreville, Alberta went to be with her Lord at the age of 100 years. Anne is survived by her loving family, two daughters Christine Pawluk (Myron) and Patricia Tucker; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters: Cathy (Garry) Kitz and their sons Dylan, Brett and Skyler: Karen (Eugene) Frankiw and their children Steven (Stephanie) Pawluk along with their daughters Olivia and Sophie; Christina, Michael and Katerina: Gordon (Patricia) Pawluk and their children Mackenzie, Julian and Victoria: Billy (Lydia) Pawluk and their daughters Courtney, Cora and Carly: Robert (Caroline) Tucker and their sons Jonathan and Adam: Brian (Tatiana) Tucker: Michael (Lisa) Goshko and their children Dax, Kasha, Cassiana, Falin and Rylan; two brothers Joe and Louis Triska; one sister Elsie Verwijk; three sisters in law Kay Triska, Greta Triska and Olga Goshko-Walker; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Anne was predeceased by her husband Russell in 1995; one son Edward in 1966; son in law Peter Pawluk; her parents William and Pauline Triska; siblings Dan (Sophie), Helena (Joseph) Lazarenko, Peter, Lena (Alex) Sawchuk, George, Mike, Wasyl, Mary (Mike) Kaluzny and Edward; sisters in law Theresa and Mary Triska; brother in law Fred Verwijk. A Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Vladimir in Vegreville, Alberta where a Divine Liturgy and Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Very Reverend Fr. Slawomir Lomaszkiewicz officiating. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to the “Ukrainian Orthodox Church of St. Vladimir-Vegreville” or to the “Mary Immaculate Hospital Foundation."
