Beloved father, Gido, brother passed away at the age of 98.
Survived by his children Marlene (Dave), Lana (Ken), Fredric (Amy), Stephen and son-in-law Ashley; grandchildren David (Norrie Shan), Tanya, Charles (Yan), Maria, Ian, Elena (John) and Katherine; great-grandchildren David, Arianna, Connor, Eli, Melody, Emma and Lily; sisters Rose and Victoria and numerous in-laws and their families. Fred was predeceased by his wife of 71 years, Helen, their son Ronald and his wife Terri, son-in-law Ken; daughter Kathy; brothers John and Alexander; and sisters Katrina and Elizabeth.
A Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Autumn Rose Funeral Home, Vegreville. A Funeral Rite will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Andrew with Rev. Fr. Benny Ambrosie officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to “Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Andrew" or to the charity of one's choice.
